First of all, I have done a lot of editing on this site to make it more user friendly. The changes are subtle and you probably won't even notice, but in my opinion it's much better. I think the biggest and most noticeable change is the removal of the log in stuff.
Two weeks after my last Chemo session was my birthday. I told John it may be my last, so let's make it good.
He suggested we go to Red Lobster for lunch, okay sounds good!
On our way there, I stopped at a tattoo shop referred to me by Osa and Ringo's mama. I decided to get my first tattoo, a pink ribbon.
The tattoo artist said the design I wanted was too big to put under my eye and besides that, it would hurt like Hell. Okay, let's come up with plan B. She suggested to put it on my forearm, I can deal with that, let's do it.
She said she was ready to start and I looked at John and said "You go first". He looked at me and to my total shock, he got up and sat in the chair. I couldn't believe it, he did it with no hesitation at all.
So we ended up getting matching tattoos, the first for both of us.
I had to go for a PET/CT scan. No fun, of course. The scan was to see if there are any other spots that concern the Oncologist.
He said there are some areas of concern at the base of my skull - Oh boy, that doesn't sound good at all. He scheduled me for an MRI, I'm still waiting for the results of this test. I'll probably get the results on my next Oncology appointment.
I also had another follow-up appointment with my Surgeon. I couldn't help it, 3 of us baldies, I had to get a picture.
I had another consultation appointment with the Radiologist. He decided to wait for me to start these sessions until after my MRI results come in.
He wants me to do 5 sessions per week for 6-8 weeks. That's a lot, but he says it needs to be done.
I had 2 more blood tests and an optometrist appointment. The optometrist is sending me to a Retina specialist, like I don't have enough going on.
